Miscarriage, birth control, irregular periods...?

I got pregnant when I was 16 and had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. After that I got on Depo-Provera (shot) and was on that for 9 months (From July of 2005 - May 2006). It's been just over 2 years since I have been off of birth control completely and I am having no luck getting pregnant. I got blood work done and all my levels seem to be fine and my fiance had a s***n analysis done and he's fine, too. My periods used to be really irregular (from 30-52 days apart) but all of a sudden in the beginning of this year they became so regular I could tell exactly what day I would start (31 days apart). The biggest change is that they are fairly light compared to what they used to be, but my cramps are ten times worse. I had to take 3 days off of work one month because they were so bad I couldn't walk... Like I said, I've been to the doc's but they say everything looks fine, so why the sudden change in periods and why can't I get pregnant? I know the shot (Depo) can have lasting side effects until like 1.5 years after you stop taking it, but it's been over 2 years since I got my last one! Can someone help explain to me what is going on or who I can go to since my doc thinks everything's okay?
