Miscarriage at 7 weeks...?

Question

how long does it last?

how long does it tak for the hormones to get out of your system?

is there chance in the future, right now i dont know if i can start to TTC

i go monday to the OB doc and do more blood work

but how do you get thru this

I'm not a doctor, but I'll try to answer from experience. =[

Length depends, probably around 5-10 days.  The hormones will probably stay around for a few weeks.  There is definitely a chance!!!  Is this your first m/c?  There is only concern after 3 or more m/c and if the mother is older.  Time is pretty much how you get through it.  However, time seems to stop with what you are going through.  I'm very sorry for your loss.. it's really hard.

hi there im sorry to hear your havin a miscarriage

well i had a miscarriage when i was 4 weeks but found out i lost it at 9 weeks when i started bleedin and had to have a D&C

its really hard cus we were tryin to conceive for a long time but as soon as the doc said it was ok we ttc again

The miscarriage itself will be over within 24 hours, then you will usually experience a heavy menstruation.  Your body will immediately begin the process of starting over.  I gave myself time to grieve over the lost pregnancy before I started TTC.  The length of time is different for each person and even each pregnancy.  Talk to relatives and friends who have miscarried.  Ask some women in your life- you may be surprised at how many of them have experienced miscarriage before.  Talking about it will help you recover from this traumatic experience.

I had a miscarriage in Feb '08...I was supposed to be 10 weeks, but the baby stopped growing at 5. I didnt have to have a D&C because it came out on its own. It is very difficult to go through :o( I was very depressed for the first week or two, but then I just told myself, it will be ok, I am going to try again soon. Ive been keeping my fingers crossed ever since. Im srry for your loss. The Dr. told me to wait until I started a period, and then I can  TTC again. So I waited, the first month was a no go... But I had luck in April! I am now 16w 3d pregnant! Very goodluck to you, lots of baby dust. And again, srry for your loss
