Miss Forde to notch up the consistency level in the Anglo Printers Handicap
The most consistent entry for the Anglo Printers Handicap is Clodovil’s three-year-old grey filly, Miss Forde. Her profile does not have a success posted on it, but besides a sixth position, the three out of four outings have been second scores.
The mile and three furlong race will be staged at Killarney on Tuesday, 17th July and has attracted ten three-year-old entrants who are hoping to take back the €5,865 prize money to the connections.
The three-year-old Irish grey filly finished next to the best in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund 3YO Fillies Maiden on 18th April, 2012 at Dundalk over a mile.
Proving successful in clearing the maiden was, Duntle with jockey, Wayne Lordan onboard.
Miss Forde ended fifth after chasing leaders and half way down the track she was fifth in the field of eight. Towards the early straight, the three-year-old ranked fourth and soon discovered that there was no possibility of undermining the winner who won
by the staggering margin of eighteen lengths.
The three-year-old filly then scooped up the second position in the Irish Stallion European Breeders Fund Median Auction Fillies Maiden on 19th May, 2012 at Wexford over a mile and half a furlong.
The favourite filly of the race took on a strong start, she put in all the effort when the last two furlongs were still under way, and soon joined the winner inside the final furlong but failed to impact the winner’s finishing.
Foaled by Right Ted in 2009, the grey filly ended sixth in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Maiden on 28th May, 2012 at Ballinrobe race course over a mile and a furlong.
Till yet the last try of the Jim Bolger trained was in the Leopardstown Club Members Handicap on 21st June, 2012 at Leopardstown over a mile and two furlongs.
The three-year-old filly did suffer through the lack of room on the track when entering the straight and thusly dropped down to the fourth position. This however did not impact her composure as she bounced back and concluded the race two lengths after the
winner, Strandfield Lady.
