Missed birth control, unprotected s*x, and negative tests...?

I asked this earlier but only got 2 answers...hoping for a little more insight this time around. Thanks!

I've been taking my pills for the last 12 days on schedule, but prior to that I missed five, which were supposed to be the first active week. I had unprotected s*x during that time (2-3 times) and I'm worried that I may be pregnant. The problem is that I took 2 pregnancy tests. I took them two days ago and both were negative. Is it too early based on the time frame that I gave to test and to get an accurate result? I haven't had a period in MONTHS because of being on this pill, so my period is really tricky to figure out. Anyway, based on those facts, can anyone give me an educated opinion of what they think? Could I be pregnant or are the negatives more than likely accurate? I will say that I used the Dollar Store tests, if that makes any difference at all.

I conceived on christmas and i got a positive ultra sound on 01/15/

Hi.

First, can I say I doubt I will be able to give you a better indication than a pregnancy test.

A lot of it will also come down to how long you have been taking contraceptive pills prior to missing the first week. Generally speaking, after being on the pill for an extended time, it does take some time being off the pill before you are in a position of being able to get pregnant - again, generally speaking - so I would be surprised if you were.

I would hazard a guess that the test results are accurate but test again in a week to be sure.

Can I say - and please don't take this as being judgmental as it's not - using a condom if you aren't taking the pill will lead to less worry later on.

4 days a month my partner and I use a condom because we don't want to take the chance. As a guy I HATE condoms ... but I hate the idea of putting her to worry about pregnancy more.

well if you think your pregnant first stop taking the pill as the hormones will hurt the baby if you are . don't have any more s*x in tell you know for sure and Wait another week then go to dr and get a blood test as they are 100 % accurate

You are WORRIED you might be pregnant, but you had s*x knowing you were missing pills.  Are you stupid?
