  1. Are you on birth control? If you are maybe you should change your pills. If your not, sounds like your hormones arent balanced. I would make an appointment with your doctor. Talk to your mom, she might be able to help as well.

    Goodluck.

  2. that has happened to me before

    some people just aren't regular

    i say don't worry

i went 5 months and now im

    back regular

  3. that happened to me too.. it was nothing really,, u should get a check up.. eat alot of foods that are high in Iron

  4. maybe u were raped. could there be a possibility. but u should really see a doctor. it is serios to miss a period.

  5. There are other reasons besides pregnancy that could cause you to miss your period.  Hormones, stress, and cancer are a few.  I don't want to scare you, but you need to see a doctor.  A friend of mine went through the same thing when we were teenagers, and she had a rare form of cancer.  Good news is it was easy to cure because it was caught in time.  They put her on birth control for her hormones, and she is fine now.

  6. You started pretty late, so your period could still be irregular.

But it might also be time to see a doctor. You've waited three months, so you don't seem to be a hypochondriac...so I would probably trust your instinct (which seems to be telling you to get this checked out).

  7. You're right to worry, but don't be OVERLY worried... something's just up with your hormones- could be stress, could be lack of sleep, change in diet/exercise, etc... Go ahead and see a doc to figure out what's up if you don't get it in another month or two.  (Since you're sure you're not pregnant...)  When I was 16 and joined the cross country team and started running a lot more, I didn't get my period for a while (and I was thin but not REALLY skinny).  You'll feel better if things get balanced back out, and there's nothing to be nervous about talking to your mom/aunt/sister/doc...  Good luck!

  8. when i enter the navy at 18 i gained 10lbs. and exercised a lot more and my period stopped for almost a year they said my iron intake was not high enough for my body mass...exercise regiment during that time i suffered from dizziness and nausea when my period was due

  9. It can also happen because of stress. It is common when you are this young to have irregular periods. If you are really concerned I'd go to the doctor and get medical advice--that's the smartest thing to do. But you're probably fine.

  10. Well, take a breath. As a virgin, it's unlikely that you are pregnant. (I would say with complete certainty, but I have heard of a few girls getting pregnant from fooling around. I've never personally handled a case like that though.) Nausea, lethargy, and no periods for three months? Have you experienced a major weight loss also? It's possible that you are suffering from a nutritive disorder, and it's possible, but unlikely that you are diabetic. Bottom line, take a pregnancy test to satisfy your piece of mind, and then go see an OBG, who will most likely point you in the right direction.

  11. you could just be underweight

  12. The first thing that comes to mind when I read your question is are you stressed out or depressed?  Sometimes when you are either of those things it can throw your cycle off.  Also, if you have lost a lot of weight, started taking a new medication, using drugs, or working out a lot it could change your cycle.  I wouldn't worry to much but if I were you I would go to the doc. to get it checked out just to be safe in case you are sick.

  13. u may have problems inside lol

  14. Have you been eating properly? Or maybe you've been under a lot of stress?

Either way, there's a lot of things that could stop you from getting your period. Serious weight gain or loss, lots of stress, just being a teen and all the funky hormones that go with, a cyst, or some other serious medical problem involving your reproductive tract.

I would recommend going to the doctor immediately and explaining what's going on. It may just be a false alarm, but it might not be and it's always easier to treat problems when they are caught early on.

  15. There are plenty of reasons that a woman can miss a period besides pregnancy. It's probably a hormonal imbalance of some sort. Just talk with your mom  and have her make you an appointment with an Ob/Gyn. It could also just be stress. Your Ob/Gyn will be able to talk with yoiu and decide what's wrong exactly. If she suspects a hormonal imbalance she'll probably do some bloodwork. I had the same problem. My doctor put me on a drug called provera that I took for 10 days which made me start my period. after that I started birth control pills to make my period regular. You shouldn't worry. I am sure that there is nothing seriously wrong with you, and the Ob/Gyn is not as bad as you make them out to be in your head. I put off going for a long time because I was scared and then when I finally went, I realized how crazy I had been for worrying. Good Luck!

  16. when you're that young your cycle can be all over the place you may not comp. regular until your in your early 20's.  If you are active in sports and have a low percentage of body fat that could also be the reason for your irregular period.  if you are really nervous just go see your dr. you need to start a good relationship with your gyno anyway you will being seeing a lot of him/her over the rest of your lifetime

  17. I started when I was 14. It was the month of May then skipped from June and I sarted again in late August. I think when you first start you skip..sometimes I only have mine for a couple of days..it's nothing to be concerned about. :D

  18. you could be stressed out

    you should see your dr

  19. theres nothing wrong your period wot be regular until your twenties if itmakes you feel better talk to an adult and visit a doctor they can makesure everythings ok and give   you peaceof mind best of wishes
