Missed the summer soltace?

Question

Is anything sacred really, I just heard a girl who claims to be the head of the white witches in Ireland and she didn't even know the date of the summer soltace.

Do you think this is grounds for been impeached by witches?

I recall last year she didn't know the date of the winter one and now she doesn't know the summer one.

As a wiccan i find this unacceptable, I don't want to call her a fool but she sure sounds like one now?

Is she harming anyone with her ignorance of astronomy?

P.S. And before some r****d at Yahoo Answers gives me a violation notice for "not an answer", I'd like to point out that the rede of Wicca says "if it harms no one, do as you will".

Anyone with an overactive imagination can set themselves up as a, "witch" or "medium" or "psychic".  Its fashionable and attracts nutters and attention seekers.  Genuine practitioners who hold sacred all the old ways must be absolutely p*ssed off with all these, "Johnnie-Wannabees".  You have my sympathy.
