Missed/weird period?

I am planning a visit to the doctor, but I wanted to see if I could get some help here too. I haven't had a period since June, but I have spotted and the past three days I have had a brown discharge.

I have never had s*x. So I don't see how I could be pregnant. What else could this mean?

If you have been experiencing a lot of stress or weight issues this could cause your period to stop.  My first year of college I didn't have a period at all and my ob/gyn said it was because of stress.  I don't know how old you are but younger girls who haven't had there period for many years are very prone to irregular or spotty periods.  Your body just hasn't become regular yet because you could still be going through puberty.  If you are having fevers or pain with your brown discharge you could have an infection.  Some girls are more prone to them than others.  Also sometimes brown discharge is your period...its just older blood that waited awhile to come out.  Good luck and hang in there.  Feel free to email me with anymore questions.

My period stayed on for 18 days one time and I missed the next month it could be stress but everyone is different good luck.

I don't know but you should definitely see the doctor. It sound like you could be pregnant but you said you never have s*x you should see your doctor a.s.a.p.

It sounds like you've had a weird period.  It does happen and  to everyone.

You're body could just be out of whack for many reasons, but the spotting and discharge sounds like you "had" your period.  

If I tell you I am prone to polyps don't freak out.  This is what causes my period to be off.  It doesn't mean the same for you.  My doc always removed them in her office, all but one, then sent it to be tested and they were always benign.  The one she didn't remove was removed by my ogbyn.  Still nothing.      

As everyone here has said, it could be nothing, but go to that appointment.  Hope this helps.
