Question:

Missing Remote.?

I recently purchased a Home Theater System (Samsung HT-Q70) that was a display model for only $80 from Sears. The biggest catch is that the remote is missing. Anyone have a clue on a universal remote that will work with this receiver? I have a Samsung plasma and thought @ the time of purchase that I could program my TV remote, but have been unable to find any code that will work...Thanks for your help!!

  1. try going to samsung website an order another  or ask at store

  2. Look under the couch cushions.

  3. If you go to http://www.remotes.com/store/samsung/ah5...

they have your remote for sale I looked it up using the owner's manual on-line to get the right part number for the remote for your stereo

  4. Look on rem otecodes.com

  5. Have you tried manually locating the code. There should be instructions in your manual on how to search for a code. If you don't have the manual, you most likely can download it or review it  on line @ Samsung's site.

  6. Zenith carries a good line of universal remotes. I have two of them and I haven't found anything they couldn't handle.

  7. http://reviews.cnet.com/remote-controls/...

I purchased this for my computer geek of a husband 2 years ago and it's the best!  It will even work for a remote controlled ceiling fan.

Cost is about $100.00 and well worth it.
