Missing .bin file problem on AVG Anti Virus?

Question

I have AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0 on my computer. Once I bring up Internet Explorer a little box comes up say 'missing .bin file' and it won't do any new updates or anything. What's a .bin file and how do I fix this problem? Thanks.

I just started getting this same error message. We might have to just wait a day or two and see if it fixes itself.

I don't really know.
