Missing xbox 360 cable?

I bought a xbox 360 and I think it is missing a cable. I want to connect my sound system with my xbox 360 with the HDMI cable. The instructions says that I need to connect the HDMI cable to the HD AV cable through the two small holes. I could not find the cable. Was it suppose to come with my xbox 360 or do I need to buy it separately? If I need to buy it separately where can I find this cable?

The HDMI cable only comes with the Xbox 360 Elite edition.  You can pick one up at virtually any place that sells Xbox 360s in the accessory section.  Unfortunately, it's not a cheap cable. =/

Just plug the HDMI into you HDTV

And use a digital audio cable from your tv' "audio out" into you stero system.

thats the simple way.
