Mission Complete likely to win the Digibet.com Handicap Hurdle
Mission Complete is expected to prevail in the Digibet.com Handicap Hurdle at Ffos Las in England on Thursday, March 29, 2012. The stamina of all runners will be tested, as the overall distance to cover is 3 miles. The winner of the race will be awarded
with a cash prize of £2,599.
The action will start at 2:50 GMT and a total of 10 runners will fight for glory. Following are the names of the confirmed entries: Presented, Mission Complete, Derwen Pryde, Medic Man, One More Cookie, Dingat, Sir Mattie, Vivarini, Thecircleoftrust and
Free Advice.
Out of the above mentioned runners, Medic Man might not be able to take place in the race, as he has sustained an injury. He had been in good form over the past couple of races and his trainer, Susan Gardner, would have been hopeful of a solid result today.
The bookies have shown full confidence in the abilities of Mission Complete, who has got a decent record in races over hurdles. He has entered nine of them, winning three and finishing runner up in a couple of them.
The six-year-old gelding has been in superb form over the past few months, thus the punters will be placing a lot of bets in his favour. He has finished in top two in his previous five outings, which shows that he is in great rhythm at the moment.
Jonjo O'Neill’s trainee finished runner up in his most recent race and will be difficult to stop at Ffos Las today. He will be partnered by A. P. McCoy, who needs no introduction at all, as he is a fabulous rider.
On the other hand, the bookmakers have also shown a lot of faith in the abilities of Presented, who will be chasing his first ever victory over hurdles. He has entered four of such events, but could only manage a best of runner up position once.
Despite that, the bettors might risk some money in favour of the five-year-old gelding, as he has done well recently. He will be ridden by Tom Molloy, who is relatively new to the sport.
The other participants do not seem to be in a winning position at the moment, which means that Mission Complete will dominate proceedings in the race today.
