Mission of cooperative extension services. Family consumer science, nutrition and 4-H programs?

Cooperative extension Service is a great program and of huge value in rural areas but this really has nothing to do with Special Education.  Sp-Ed deals with cognitive and developmental disabilities as they relate to education needs.

This is a tall order and for too expansive a request for this forum.  Although there are broad mission/goals statements, each Cooperative Extension Office will have slightly different missions/goals that are targeted to the region served.  You can start your search here:
