Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors and Saint John Sea Dogs battle in the Memorial Cup Final
The National Hockey League fans are coming up with another interesting battle but not in NHL. There is an interesting battle at the junior level between Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors and Saint John Sea Dogs in the Memorial Cup Final.
The series, expected to be a close and very productive one, will be broadcasted on the National Hockey League Network. The series is featuring two of the finest teams in the sport with the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors playing against inform Saint John Sea Dogs.
Sea Dogs has been absolutely brilliant during the course of the season so far, lifting the Quebec Major Junior League title this season. It is definitely the better team, in form, and the favourite to lift the Memorial Cup.
Nevertheless, Majors is not going to give up easily as it will be hoping to use the home ice advantage to the fullest in the next game of the series.
The tournament has been quite interesting with Sea Dogs maintaining a superb 2-1-0 record so far. Sea Dogs began the series in superb fashion as they successfully won the opening game against Majors in a close battle.
There were quite a lot of goals, with both teams coming up with a brilliant offense. In the end, Sea Dogs outplayed Majors and won the game by 4-3.
The road to Memorial Cup wasn’t easy for Majors as they belonged to the tough part of the draw, facing some very strong teams. The self-belief and the determination to win gave it a lot of confidence and the team was able to register an excellent 3-1win in the semifinals.
What was superb about this performance was that it was up against Kootenay Ice, predicted to win the Cup.
The game would be very interesting as Sea Dogs won the first game and Majors will be hoping that it can continue to do what it had been doing and win the final game to lift the Memorial Cup.
