While speaking to media reporters ahead of the second Test against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757, the veteran top-order batsman of Sri Lanka said that such recurring mistakes could not be excused and urged the players to move on and work hard on
every aspect of the game, from physical fitness to mental toughness.
"It's been the same mistakes repeated quite a few times," said Kumar Sangakkara, while speaking to media reporters, at the mandatory pre-match practice session in Durban.
"Those are things we can't excuse. We need to work as hard as we can on every aspect of our game - from physical fitness, to skill work, to the mental side of things and to have fun while doing all of that," he added further.
Kumar Sangakkara stepped down from captaincy after failing to win the World Cup final against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TM-Dilshan-c2691, replaced Sangakkara as the Lankan captain,
and since then, he is yet to win a series in any format of the game.

After their devastating tour, the Sri Lankan sports minister called on the players and the team management separately, and concluded that a communication gap exists within the team and the players, and this was the major reason behind
the abysmal performance. Sangakkara, however opined that the reason behind the poor performance is that they are not learning from the mistakes.
