Mitchell Johnson takes 6 wickets and gives Australia series win over New Zealand
In the game of sports especially Cricket luck can change within seconds but teams like Australia will never lose a game, you would have to win it from them.  New Zealand had started the day 293 runs behind and without much hope. But for Bredon McCullen(51) and Martin Guptil (58) seemed more like a matter of pride than anything else to which made them both manage to conquer half centuries and secure themselves.

Australia knocked out New Zealand by 176 runs to a whitewash 2-0 series victory in Hamilton.

The Black Caps were dismissed for 302 in their second innings, with man of the match Mitchell Johnson taking 6-73 to give him 10 in the match.

In the end New Zealand was never going to be prepared or strong enough to withstand the Australian and their major attack, nonetheless the home side was by no means shamed in the match and bounced back well after a big 10-wicket loss in Wellington the week before.

It has surely been an excellent Summer for Australia where the win win situation comes into concentration and play especially since they have shown off the potential talents of some really exciting and promising players which includes bowlers Doug Bollinger and Ryan Harris who have brilliantly show cased their fine techniques in the series.

McCullum fighting half century on the final morning was false hope for the New Zealand fans. Although McCullum hit nine fours and put one six over the ropes, his Mike Hussey took an excellent catch off of Bollinger to send him packing.

Guptill didn’t stick around for long once Australia sent McCullum for tea. Johnson sent a ripper and Guptill couldn’t help but send an edge to Ricky Pointing who hardly drops any catches. This was the end of New Zealand for most fans but Tim Southee did provide some entertainment smashing Bollinger all over the ground. Southee was a stone throw away from the fastest ever Test match 50 but ran out of support when Johnson sent a ripper once again by dismissing Brent Arnel for a golden duck.

Chris Martin who is famously known as the worst batsman in international cricket had nothing to lose when he executed a Sachin Tendulkar like cover drive off of Johnson that crossed the ropes for a four.  Maybe Chris has lot more to offer than the so call experts give him credit for.

The New Zealand party came to an end when Southee fell just short of his half century as he got caught by Michael Clarke on 45, handing Johnson his sixth wicket of the innings.  One more win for Australia and one more test done and dusted bringing us closer to the much anticipated Ashes.
