The Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper has expressed his desire to be included in the playing XI at the domestic and international level.
Borussia Dortmund’s Australian recruit, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Melbourne-Victory-c39899 player has had
limited opportunities at the Westfalenstadion since signing for the Borussians in 2010.
Langerak mentioned that there might be an opportunity for him in the remaining two league games with Dortmund having already won the Bundesliga. However, he preferred remaining coy over his possible chance and is confident that
Dortmund will create a record this season for bagging most number of points in one Bundesliga term.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Australia-c746 U-20 international praised the whole side for their convincing performance this campaign which has seen them stretching their unbeaten streak to 26 games in all competitions. He mused that it will be encouraging for
him if Jurgen Klopp sticks with his starting XI in the remaining games in order to bag a record under their belt.
In his continuation of the interview to soccerway.com, the 23-year-old further added: "If I get the chance to play that would be amazing, but I'm not expecting anything. It's a professional sport, so obviously the coach is going
to put out what he thinks is his strongest 11 in both games. I'm hopeful, but I think the strongest 11 will go for the most points in a season record.”
On the other hand, the shot stopper also expressed his intentions of playing for Australia and becoming a part of his country’s 2014 FIFA World Cup in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858. He admitted that it will be an honour for him to represent his nation
and is looking forward to receiving a call-up in the near future.
"For me, being involved with the Socceroos is something I always think about, it's something that I always want to do. If I get the chance to be selected for the Socceroos, that's amazing and I would be very honoured to be involved
with that,” Langerak concluded.
Langerak has only managed to make two senior team appearances for the Black Yellows since joining them in 2010 and has already won as silverware with the German club.
