Impressed by Virat Kohli’s performance in the ongoing tour of Australia, Michael Slater, a former Aussie opener, has rated him as the best young batsman in modern cricket.

"The thing that impresses me about Kohli is his technique. If you look at all the upcoming batsmen in the world, they have techniques for Twenty20 cricket and not Tests," said the former Australian opener after Kohli led http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 to a four-wicket win in the
second match of the Commonwealth Bank Series against Sri Lanka at WACA, Perth on Wednesday.
"The way Kohli goes back and across should be the foundation of batting, but nowadays, youngsters stay besides the ball to open the shots on the off side," Slater added further.
