Mitsubishi CS-32509 TV

Question

hey i just got this tv from a friend and it was working fine before. After i got it set up and turned on a message came up about installing guide plus+ and to turn off the tv or hit cancel to stop the installation however there is no cancel button and i cant figure out how to continue the installation once turned off. I could careless if this guide plus+ feature works or doesn't but it seems with the message on the screen it will not allow me to change channels with the remote or buttons on the tv but i can change volume.
