Mitsubishi LCD Flat panel HDTV LT-46131. Mitsubishi 46" HDTV Shut off wont turn back on, red light

Mitsubishi 46" HDTV Shut off wont turn back on, red light appears and wont turn off with remote we have to unplug. We live in rural area and don't no where to get repairs done. We hav contacted both Mitsubishi and Circuit City, they have been NO help. Anything you can do would be of great service, Thank you so much
