Mitsubishi WD 62327's lamp light is flicking....?

and whenever i turn the TV on....the screen is blank (no picture no sound no nothing).....is there a problem with the lamp?

Yes, the lamp likely needs replacing.

If you bought a guarantee on the unit, they usually pay for replacement lamps.  Otherwise you'll have to go out and purchase one yourself.
