Mix signals from G&WS, Is it 'preferable' to revert to general stereotypes, myths, put-downs & even aversion?

I notice that many people are quick to answer questions that play to stereotypes, but mainly the ones, that don’t put any spotlight on female problems (of which I am sure there is not really any) don’t kill me!!

I'm not going to attack you, this is a really interesting question.  But I do want to give you my opinion on the issue. I think the problem that arises here in the GWS forum is people are too busy pointing the finger at one another, based on the wrongs they've personally experienced with someone in their lives. I will admit, there are some women in the world who have some serious issues;  and they contribute to the constant disputes that wage on between the sexes. But men have just as many problems (emotionally, physically, socially, economically) as women do. And I've seen plenty men in here get sore when you point them out.

Any time a woman comes here and says something negative about men, most of the men in here do the same thing (stereotyping, and putting down, and bring up BS myths they heard while in high school). Most of the men in here seem to believe that all women want is money, power, and a man to be their slave. And this is so far from the truth, but for some strange reason, many of them who visit this form believe they know that this is how all women feel.  On the other hand, many women who come here believe that all men are no good, want to oppress women, and have no compassion for anyone. This is also far from the truth, but again, for some strange reason  many of them who visit this form believe they know that this is how all men feel.  And then you have the one's who’re in between. And  who want us all to get along (and we know will never happen).

All in all, we go back and forward finding fault with on another based on the little that we know personally of the opposite s*x. Thus, the mixed signals will continue to be transmitted, until we (meaning men and women) can find the courage and forgiveness  to sit down and just talk to one another (civilized) and try to understand one another. And use this forum for what it was originally  intended to be used for (to educate and assist those in need)  not tear one other down over personal aggression.

Feminists and feminist sympathizers are vastly outnumbered in this forum, and very little of the criticism directed at us is valid.  Most of it is name-calling, nasty stereotypes, myths, put-downs and aversion to reality.  Why should we waste our time responding?

At 16 your personal frame of reference is very narrow and extremely influenced by your peers who don't know any more than you.  The females you know (girls your own age)probably do fit the negative stereotypes of which you speak, for the same reason.  As you get older and meet girls who are starting to get older too, you'll find that women don't fit so easily into those nasty little boxes.  But it will probably take a lot longer for YOU to get out of the nasty stereotype boxes than the women you meet.  You have barely begun your journey; keep your mind and eyes and ears open and your mouth shut and you'll be much more successful.
