Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Nick Diaz, has planned to leave the MMA for a career in boxing. The Welterweight Champion’s manager, Cesar Gracie, has motivated him to change the sport in order to release his aggravation.
Diaz had shown some brutal striking in his latest fights and it certainly required a lot of courage for him to end his MMA career at this point. He will have to face experts in the boxing ring, to accomplish success in the new sport. The two games look quite
similar but it is not necessary that a good MMA fighter comes out as a talented boxer.
The MMA bouts generally take place inside a steel cage and it is pretty hard to say in particular, that Diaz would be ranked as a top quality boxer. Diaz had left the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2006 and it is shocking to consider that his career defeats
were due to the failure of constant take-downs.
