What do you call an emotion you have for girl and when they talk to other guys around her u quickly drop ur self esteem but the kicker is this she is just a friend nothing else?

I get that way too around boys.

I think its a bad habbit that i had to slowly get over.

You like her, and you don't want her to like someone other than you. It's kind of like jealousy only you taken the step to ask her out.
