Mixed up public personal information...how do i fix this???

I just found out that my personal public information has been mixed up with my Mom's (we have the same first name, but different initials). Any public search someone does for me lists my age as 69, my Mom's age (I am 31), but past addresses, etc. are all mine. Where in the heck do I start to fix this??? PLEASE, PLEASE help!

public personal info mix up isn't a big deal..what you'll want to ensure next time you go to the bank that your social.address.name.birthday are all correct in their system...from there go to any loans or other credit cards you have and do the same thing...if you mom is up to it, make sure she does the same...if you want to dive deep you could both get credit reports and make sure eachother's stuff is all in the right hands and nothing else out there is on anything...but this name difference is common in "public" info...I've been married a year and a half and I still get mail in my maiden name...I get the new last name at my parents address..which I was always under the maiden name at the address...heck my mom even after being married for 20 years got a few every year in her maiden name...the important thing is the credit report and the accounts you're currently using that are open. hope this helps!
