Mixing Fish in a pond, is it possible for a 'cross marriage'?

At the moment I put together platys (yellow, red, gold, white, marble), black molly, swordtails, guppy (silver, albino, red, yellow). Seem to me they can stay together, peacely, no problem at all. Some of them are having new babies and keep them in the same pond.

My question: Is that a possibility for the fishes to 'cross marriage'? If it is happenned, what kind of new fish will be ?

Just curious. and thank very much for your answer in advance.

  1. Those fish will all live well together.  It's not likely that they will cross breed.

  2. if by cross marriage you mean cross breed then no, they wont. they have to be of the same species

example. black mollies and dalmation mollies will breed together. but NOT a molly and a platy

  3. cross marriage?  that made my day

  4. Mollies, Platys, and Swordtails can and do interbreed. I have had them, and have seen it happen. A male Platy with a sword on his tail is very interesting. They come out with some cool crossbreeds. I don't think they can breed with the Guppies, but can't tell you for sure.
