This past week i got prescribed Tussionex for my bad cough and sickness I've been dealing with.

Generic Name: chlorpheniramine and hydrocodone (KLOR fen IR a meen and HYE droe KOE done)

and from last time i was sick i got prescribed Vanacon EXP...

Chemical Name: PSEUDOEPHEDRINE (soo-doe-e-FED-rin), HYDROCODONE (hye-droe-KOE-done), and GUAIFENESIN (gwye-FEN-e-sin)

i was wondering if these are medically safe to mix (if i won't die i will take), because i am running low on the Tussionex...

  1. Don't worry, dude, it's safe to take them mixed.and won't be toxic.

Chlorpheniramine is an anti-allergic drug, hydrocodone is for relieving cough. While PSEUDOEPHEDRINE and GUAIFENESIN are also antitussive drugs.

There's no need for you to take them both, just take Tussionex, that's fine.

    Good luck!
