Arsenal’s Ryo Miyaichi, who is currently on loan at Wigan Athletic has gone on to admit that his stay with the team has helped him grow as a player, and he hopes that it will help him out with his adaptation to the English game. At the same time, the player
has hinted that he won’t have any issues with spending another season on loan with the Latics, as it will only help him grow up as a player even further.
The player went on to join the team at the start of the season on his loan spell, but following an ankle injury, his season went on to come to an end far too prematurely. He hasn’t been able to get back to playing for the team yet, but should he end up
sticking around for another season, he is bound to prove his worth to the team.
The twenty year old winger feels that he has learned quite a bit during his short stay with the team, and he is hoping that he will be able to go on impress Arsene Wenger with what he has learned over his spell with Wigan, which could prove to be enough
for him to earn a call up into the Gunners starting eleven.
They have a good attitude and a good philosophy for football," Ryo told the club's official website. "The manager is a very good man and it was a very good experience for me.”
"Most of the time I was injured. I couldn't play a lot of games and I couldn't show my quality.”
"It was disappointing for me but I'm so appreciative to the Wigan supporters, the Wigan manager and the Wigan players. It was a very good experience.”
"Being there helped me to grow up. As a person, I'm growing up every day.”
"When I was at Wigan the training was very good and the people are very kind so I got some good experience there. I feel I'm improving but I need to keep working hard."
Nonetheless, it is now going to be a wait to see just what the player will be doing from here on out.
