Mizuno GMVP 1275 for softball?

Question

I generally play shortstop/left field on a co-ed softball team. I really like the way that the Mizuno GMVP 1275 looks, but would it work for softball rather than baseball?

Mizuno makes softball gloves as well.  They usually have exhibition stands at all travel softball tournaments where you can get the Mizuno glove at cost.
