  1. the sides on running shoes have no support and volleyball shoes have a lot of support. the soles might be a little different without the support. I love their volleyball shoes and my mom and club director both have the running shoes, and supposively they are the most comfortable shoe for everyday stuff. to answer your question though i am not sure if they have the same shock soles, but i think they would be similar since they are both very popular. good luck

  2. Shock-wish they are almost the same.

Running shoes were designed to help you move forward, while volleyball shoes need to help your lateral move as well as moving forward AND backward.

  3. i doubt it... volleyball shoes have special traction and shock because youre jumping more instead of running. Ask the store workers.

  4. no because the volleyball shoes have a type of rubber on them to help stick to the ground more. in running you don't need to stick to the ground.
