i hate when that happened, so i just saved it before the season started and made sure my player had an awesome spring (.400 BA, 10 HR, 25 RBI), my tip is go game by game and save it after each good game with at least 2 hits or a home run, and if you dont get it, back out to the main menu and start back at where you left off at, glad to help you out
