Mma fights with corrective lenses?

i have contacts and if i got punched in the eye i bet theyd fall out. what do people in ufc do if they need corrective lenses

I've done Karate, Kendo, Aikido, Jyu-Jutsu with contact lenses with no problems.

and yes, there has been plenty of contact (excuse the pun!)

A dab of glue in the corners might help. **joke**

I've had several occasions where a lens will pop out during judo and wrestling.  There was one UFC fight where one of the fighters lost a lens and for sure, they didn't stop the fight.

First, keep back-up glasses for the drive home.  

Second mentally prepare yourself to not be surprised and freak out when you do lose a lens.  Just stay cool and finish what is most important.  If you are sparring or doing mat work, you don't need precise vision anyway.  

For martial arts I use disposable lenses.  On a per lens basis it's cost effective and you can make a one-a-day last quite a bit longer than one day, but be smart about it.
