  1. He is neutral right now, but given the opportunity, he would once again become a rogue dictator. He is still the same type person, and depending who gets elected this Nov, he could become active in the circle or terror again.

  2. Dangerous?  He has never been a major threat to us, with the exception of the SCUDs he fired at US Coast Guards when we were near the territorial waters of Libya (even though we weren't in his waters).  He only retaliated because he thought that we were a threat to him because the US bombed suspected terrorist factions in Tripoli and Benghazi, without issuing an order to the Libyan government.  The US would done the same if the situations was 'vice-versa'.

All was said and done and he haven't had trouble since.  He even announced a war on the Al-Qaeda in the aftermath of Sept. 11, offering help to eradicate the terrorists.  He is nonetheless a de facto leader in Libya who was in concern of his citizens.

  3. I would say that he has more sense than the leader of Iran, Ahmadinejad!  He had a meeting with Iran's leader last week & I think that he was trying to reason with him concerning nuclear weapons & how they would endanger all of the Mideastern countries.  To no avail.
