Moany Tony expected to win Jamaica Sprint Trophy - Heat 2
Moany Tony is tipped to prevail in the Jamaica Sprint Trophy - Heat 2 at Coventry in England on Thursday, June 21, 2012. A cash prize of £150 has been set for the winner of the Grade OR event.
Speed will play a crucial part in determining the winner of the 263 metres event, which is scheduled to start at 20:53 GMT. A total of six quality hounds have been attracted towards the race and their names are as follows: Aero Prince, Funworld Boy, Debs
Aglish, Moany Tony, Pinewood Express and Funcheon Lad.
There are some very good runners lined up for action at Coventry, thus the competition is expected to be a close one. However, only one hound will walk away with a victory and that can be Moany Tony, who has the tools to outperform his opponents today. His
speed is quite impressive, which will encourage the bettors to risk some money on him.
The H. Dimmock’s trainee has been a touch inconsistent over the past few events, but his fans will be hoping that he bounces back to form today. He has won once out of his previous three races, which shows that he has the potential to outperform others.
However, the black dog was unable to deliver a good show in his most recent run, as he finished in a disappointing sixth place. He was unlucky that time around, as he failed to convert a good start into a victory.
Despite that, there is a solid chance for Moany Tony to walk away with a victory today. He will have to be at his best to do so. He is the son of Eskimo Jack out of Buzz Lamars and was born in February 2010.
The bookies believe that the best chances of victory are with Aero Prince, who has been delivering some positive results over the past few months. He likes the shorter distance events and the conditions at Coventry will also suit him.
The M. Wallis’ trainee finished first in his most recent outing, which shows that he is in pretty good form at the moment. He will definitely give a tough time to Moany Tony in the race.
