Moany Tony hot favourite for June Dash Dup
Moany Tony is expected to dominate proceedings in the June Dash Dup at Henlow in England on Thursday, June 7, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
The 277 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 19:45 GMT and following runners will be seen in action in it: Moany Tony, Kreschatik Paddy, Swift Karma, Drovers Eclipse, Fagin and Ballymac Exit.
Looking at the performances and experience of Moany Tony, it is pretty much evident that he has the best chances of claiming victory. The bookies have also shown full confidence in his abilities, thus the punters will be looking forward to risk a lot
of bets in his favour.
The H. Dimmock’s trained hound finished runner up in his previous two outings, which shows the kind of form he is carrying at the moment. Although victories have dried up for him in recent events, he has the tools to make a strong comeback at Henlow
today.
In his most recent race, Moany Tony performed really well, but had to settle for the second place in the end. He was not rated favourite back then, but still gave a tough time to his opponents. However, he will need to make a big improvement in order
to break the shackles today.
The black dog has got an extremely good speed, which will prove to be the decisive factor in today’s event. Although there are some good runners up against him, he seems to be the best of them all.
The favourite hound is the son of Eskimo Jack out of Buzz Lamars and was born in February 2010.
On the other hand, Kreschatik Paddy might also manage to make an impression in the race, as he is a decent performer. He has been a touch inconsistent over the past few events, but still has the skills to make a strong comeback.
In his most recent outing, the P. Thompson’s trainee finished third overall. He was unable to challenge the top two, which was a bit discouraging. Due to this, the punter might not risk a lot of bets in his favour today.
