Question:

Mobile Ebooks and Ereaders?

I have a n73 and have downloaded Mobi Pocket Reader (the free version). I also have downloaded some books (namely in .txt, .doc and .pdf formats)

How do i transfer these books to Mobi so that i can read them on my mobile? I have wracked my brains and tried everything i know... Apparently i seem to be the only one who has this problem... Maybe i'm being extremely blind... Or maybe it could due to the fact that i have no access to a personal computer and thus can't send it via the pc, which seems simple enough. So the problem is ...how do i get Mobi to RECOGNIZE the books i already have in my system (n73)... Or does Mobi only let you read the books you download from their own server... in that case, is there ANY other mobile e-reader that i can use instead? Thanks aplenty... sorry if this is a newbie-ish question, but really, i've reached the end of my tether.

  1. First of all you are using a Smartphone, it is almost like a computer. As far as I know that phone has preinstalled Adobe reader LE for viewing *.pdf files, it is best for reading eBooks.  Quick office for viewing *.doc and *.txt files and a note pad too. Some time those applications normally open files only from a default location.

Use a good file explorer like FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com) or E-xplore to access all of your files on mobile and search for those books you have downloaded into your mobile and open them

*Note: Don’t delete any system files of your phone using those explorer application

    Hi

As far as i know Adobe reader support fullscreen reading mode but not sure about autoscrolling. i have tried it on my friend's N93i. i don't have my own N or E series device still now. so it's little difficult for me to suggest you an application, i don't want to suggest anything to anyone which i didn't tried myself.

If i able find out a good e-book reader application i'll let you know.
