I have had the Hotdrive mobile 2.5 HDD for a few years and it has always worked perfectly. Now, when I plug in the two USB cables, the green light comes on and the green arrow in my tool bar on the computer comes on, but nothing else happens - the computer is not reading the hard drive. When I go to My Computer, there is no icon for it. I've tried this on two different computers with the same results. One time, an orange light came on on the hard drive and went click click click befiore the green light came on. I am unable to access all the backed-up info on this hard drive! Is there a solution to this problem? What can I do? How can I retrieve my information? Someone said it has something to do with the casing, but that seems highly unlikely. I paid my $10 and received only one rather useless reply.
