Mobile//Laptop connection?

Question

try to plug my sony erricson into the laptop to transfer photos which i need on the laptop tonight ... but it doesnt seem to have an effect on the laptop...

i go into my laptop and check the usb ports..nothing there..

on my mobile screen it says do not remove usb cable untill you have exited the application on your pc

On my sisters computer it used to work but i put my friends phone in .. which was a more new mobile so since then it didnt work ..

How can i get the connection back between my sony erricson w300i and the fujutsu siemans laptop ?? x

Maybe you don't have the necessary app  and drivers installed in your computer.

Go to the SonyEricsson website and download their PC Suite.

Does anything work when plugged in to the USB port, it may need enabling either in the BIOS or device manager. Check device manager and see if it present.
