Hi all, just bought my friend in oz a motorola v3 razr for her birthday and i am in the uk.I'm sending it to her in australia.I have taken out the charger as obviously it will not fit in an australian socket but would her buying a suitable charger in australia work on a british phone?I think it should but just being over cautious. Many thanks all.

  1. Yep, it'll work fine, the V3 is a Quad Band phone, meaning it'll work pretty much on anywhere in the world. Obviously, it'll need to be unlocked in order for her to use an Australian simcard, or she'll have to be on the British network and be subject to high roaming rates to use it! lol.

  2. I used my Motorola in Oz it was fine. Used a power monkey to charge it. You could give her the charge from the UK  and she could just get an adaptor to use. Cheaper then buying a new one.

  3. Make sure it is unblocked for use down under or she will have to purchase an Aus sim card

  4. Yes, it will work with no problems. She could even use the charger with a <$10 plug adapter.
