Mobile speed cameras?

are they recording 24 hours a day or only when a police man is present inside the van with his laser gun?

newer speed cameras are infra red laser guided and do not actually flash and capture a digital image,

sometimes the vans are lft unattended but not very often.

they are always on once set up

a switched off camera makes no money

if you never speed then you'll never have to worry

If you are not sure, just try speeding past it and seeing if it flashes. If it flashes then it is recording. Simple way to find out.

Or in the Welsh case-when they are sitting in a converted horse box-seriously !!.a licence to write their own cheques.

Copper or council guy needs to be there.

some times a speed van is left on a road just to slow traffic down , but not usually, and its no good checking for a blue flash , you don't always need one.
