Model 1101E Rival Food Slicer - grinds to a holt.

Question

I have had a model 1101E Rival Food Slicer for a long time. A number of years ago I replaced the motor. Now when I try to slice meat, the unit grinds to holt while attempting to slice each slice of meat. Could the blade have dulled or do I need another new motor?
