  1. http://www.themodelrailwayclub.org/ for the UK

http://www.themodelrailwayclub.org/docs/... for a list of affiliated clubs.

  2. Yes, there are loads!

Depending on your scale, there are national ones: The N Gauge Society, The Double O Gauge Guild, The O Gauge Guild and The Gauge 1 Guild are what i can think of, and then there are loads of local ones. Try Model Rail Magazine, published 13 times a year, for £3.10 a month.

  3. If you click on the link below, click on H, it gives you a couple of names, ie Hertford and Ware railway company. It also gives details for model railway clubs.

    Hope this helps:-)

  4. railway clubs, yes I know one, saddosrus.com

  5. All the help and advice you need is in "The Railway Modeller" magazine - all good newsagents etc.

  6. Pick up a copy of Railway Modeller, the section after the main features usually contains details of clubs and societies. That aside, it's also a very good Model Railway magazine.

  7. I believe there is a shop at Carnforth railway station which might be able to help you, it's not really my thing so I can't be sure but try writing to them at Carnforth Station, Carnforth, Lancashire.

  8. There are quite a few out there, the best one I know of.......... and the only one I can remember off the top of me head right now (not recovered all me old links off my old computer yet) is the N Gauge Society, which can be found at:

http://ngaugesociety.com/ (also has links to other scale/gauge specific societies).

and also has an extremely active YAHOO Group (well, more sort of a sideline by the guy who does the website) @ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ngauge

  9. There are many clubs in and around Herts. Chiltern MRA which links many clubs should start you of.

I suggest you start with them and if they are notl enough then they will put you in contact with a club which has closer links.
