I'm representing Poland in a 3 day conference for a novice human rights meeting. The topic is: Privacy invasions by governments and companies.

  1. For privacy invasions by governments and companies, since Poland is a NATO and EU member, even though it would be fun to attack the US (as many members are probably going to do) it is in your coutry's character to stand by them (but not completely).  You would want stronger enforcement of pre-existing laws and regulations.  I think what they may be trying to hint at is the whole debacle with Yahoo possibly giving personal information of its members to the Chinese government.  It has been in the news, you should look into that.  You are going to want to take a moderate stance on this, anything too much either way would be bad for you.

    Environmental disturbances due to mineral resource research, I honestly have no clue what Poland's position would be on this.  You may want to check out the broader EU stance on this on their website, it could give you clues to Polands views.  You would probably want to lessen the environmental impact by (again) increasing already existing standards and penalties.  But, this will definately need some investigating.


  2. Attack China and the US for human rights violations since these countried pry into the private information of their citizens to curb anti-government sentiments.
