Model building tips please

I want to make a scale building, but not a cheap one like tooth picks and popsicle sticks i want the model to be as realistic as possible. Please give links if possible.

  1. I'm guessing Yahoo Answers placed this in Photography because of the word "model."  You may want to look around to see if there's a better category for this.  

    Our models aren't generally made of toothpicks and/or popsicle sticks.

  3. If you want to make an "ok" model- go with chipboard. You can get it at any art store. Just make sure you buy all the same color. It comes in a few different thicknesses.

    The best material to use in modeling is basswood. You can usually get that at an art store as well, however it is more expensive.

    Best advise- change your blades after every other cut. It will give you clean cuts. And take you time building it!!
