I really want to have modeling/acting career after high school and I'm really looking into it.I know that runway or the cat walk arent the only type of modeling options,so I was wondering what type of models are there that don't have to be the perfect body?.Such as 6'0 and 110lbs I know there are other options. An example of the other types would be helpfull thank u.And for acting how do I begin there with no experiance I know most would want someone that knows what there doing. But I got my heart set on it I don't see myself doing anything else in life.

  1. There are many different types of modeling for woman without the "Perfect Body" (as you put it), such as plus modeling. Plus Size Models do magazine covers, make-up adds, bikini adds, etc. Everything that non-plus size models do. I think that the modeling industry has grown out that skinny stereotype. Not to mention, you have other types of modeling such as hand modeling, leg modeling, foot modeling, etc. I suggest that you discuss this with other models. Try this website (www.plusmodels.com). They have forums for young women with questions like yours.

As far as acting goes, you may want to take some classes. If you plan on going to college then apply for a college that has Theater Arts or Mass Communications as a major. If your not going to college then I suggest that you take some general acting courses. If acting is you passion then you MUST HAVE FORMAL TRAINING. It will help you in the long run.
