It is something i have always wanted to do. so as a kind gesture, my mom got me a photoshoot. (just a gesture. she said it wasnt going anywhere). it turned out awful!!! Its obvious that she isnt going to pay for another shoot........... im not asking how to convince her for another shoot, im just wondering how can i make money for another shoot? she doesnt support me at all. i asked her if it would be my last taste of modeling and she said "we'll see"

p.s. i dont know anyone in town so that cant help me get a job or babysit.

  1. ok heres two ideas that are simple and 13 yr old could do.

make flyers and offer your self as a cleaner of yards or basements or rooms you be suprised at at how many people  would hire you to  give a room or house a quick clean or a closet emptied out or  have someone do something for them.

next idea is i dont know where you live but a ice cold drink stand at a traffic light or a corner might be good you can buy 24 bottels of water for 6 dollars sell them each for a dollar....or make  lemonade or something.good luck

  2. Jesus christ. Just stay in school. You are too young to get a job. Modeling is a stupid and vain industry that will bring your self esteem down to the earth's core, anyway.

Thanks to everyone who gave me all these pretty TD's!!

  3. What happened.

  4. keep trying

  5. you gotta work your butt off and show her you earned it.

  6. ok im 13 and i model. dont let money get in your way. find a comprimise with your mom. its your dream-live it. tell her how much passion you have for the industry.

    also advice on modeling:

    1. at auditions find something that makes you unique and use it to your advantage.

    2. if you dont get the job let it role off your back, its not personal its just the life of a model

    3. everyone is looking for different things, one day you could be to skinny the next day not skinny enough. your hir could be to blond, to brown, not brown enough.

    4. have fun! photoshoots are times when you get to express yorself, let your personality shine through.

    5. never EVER say no. unless it is harmful or goes against your morals. the photographer knows what they are doing. I once was wearing a fur hat the people wear camping, and it didnt go with the outfits, its noe my favorite shoot ever!

6.if you get rejected, try again, and again, and again. even if it takes 50000 trys keep working at it.

    hope i helped. good luck!

  7. if modeling is your dream, you should pursue it. If you need to earn some quick cash, hold a garage sale or sell your old clothes to a thrift store. Also, in one year, in many states, you are old enough to have a real job with real $$, so that's encouraging.

But don't be fooled, if you have already had a photo shoot you might not NEED to have another one. Or at least not another $300 one. Just be careful with your hard earned cash, because i've been down that road several times and that's how agencies make their money.

Good luck, hope that helped. :)

  8. Just calmly ask her to do another photo shoot. Tell her that if this one doesn't go well you won't ask again. Promise her that you'll do good in your weakest subject. Tell her you'll do extra chores. Offer to babysit a younger sibling or a cousin.

  9. Do local modeling- you can get paid. Seach 'photographer' on Yahoo local.

  10. well even though you don't know anybody in town you can call ppl thats what im going to ask my perents if i can do and then if the ppl i call say yes then im going to ask if we can meet and then make arangments. btw im 13 and im saving up of stuff to.:) and p.s. my mom says i could be a model but i really don't want to even though i have the perfect figure for it. no offence i just really hate modeling.but i wish you alot of luck.
