Modeling wax preparation?

May I know the contents and preparation of sculpting wax?

Sculpting wax is a micro-crystalline wax, different to a paraffin candle wax.

I buy waxes straight from a sculpture supplier, that come in various hardnesses and of different melting temperatures - which one to use depends on the application, if it is used as a model to be cast from, a wax to cast into etc
