Modem connection with a reformated computer wont work?

I m using a ADSL modem (d-link-500T) connected through a phone line. The connection is OK with my old computer, and works well with my new desktop too...until...it is reformated to a Vista. It is connected to the internet while reformating. But the network devices wont work(cant b found), all the lights on the modem are normal (including the ethernet)......what is the problem that i cant connect? ip address? or i need to reinstall the modem again? typing 192.168.1.1 wont work (page cant b found).......

  1. the problem is in the network card if it is integrated into the motherboard put the motherboard disk in and run the add/remove hardware or what ever it is in vista.


  2. you need to reload the driver of your network card.
