Modem cuts off due to phone line?

I have switched to 20 meg o2 Broadband and got a new wireless router and I no its not my problem.

We have discovered that the modem cuts off sometimes and realised its when we walk in the living room specificaly over a certain area in a corner where we found the phone line.

Now my parents want to cut the phone line themselves and wire it to a new box but I said if they mess it up its gonna cost like £150 for a bt technitian to sort it out. Is there an easier solution and does it even sound like the phone line that is broken or the box the phone line goes to? (The bt telephone box on the wall).

Cheers. Sam.

  1. If your phone line keeps doing that talk to the empoyles that sold you that brand and added the service with it. They make change the line or Fix it sometimes for free and sometimes for money but its worth it. =]
