Modern Ninja?

First off, I am not joking.

I am interesed in Ninja arts. I know some people who actively practice Bushido; the way of the Samurai. I am personally more interested in Ninja. Is there anyone out there who knows anything about modern day Ninja practices? I would truly like a teacher, even if it is only online instruction. If there is someone out there who has genuine experience and training, please let me know. Even if you don't want to be my teacher, please let me ask you some questions privately. I am a fast learner and I am willing to do what you tell me (within reason). Once I memorize something, I don't forget it. I love to read and learn. If you are interested or just want to tell me something about the Ninja way, please answer. Just let me know to what extent you want to be involved and what your requirements are. Thank you.

  1. Don't listen to the first answer he/she does not know what they are talking about the ninja were assassins not in the army. If you want to talk more about Ninjutsu then I would be happy to help because I have a few friends who do the art and I myself have read books on Ninjutsu. So if you have any

  2. I am a practitioner of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, also known as Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu or Bujinkan Ninjutsu. It is the real and original Ninjutsu. It's over 2000 years old. It is a combat martial art that can be applied to real life situations. It is made of nine ryuha (schools) of Ninjutsu. The ryuha are

    Togakure-ryū Ninpō Taijutsu

    Gyokko-ryū Kosshijutsu

    Kuki Shinden Happō Bikenjutsu

    Kotō-ryū Koppōjutsu

    Shinden Fudō-ryū Dakentaijutsu

    Takagi Yōshin-ryū Jūtaijutsu

    Gikan-ryū Koppōjutsu

    Gyokushin-ryū Ninpō

    Kumogakure-ryū Ninpō

The Grandmaster of the art Soke Masaaki Hatsumi was trained by Toshitsugu Takamatsu (some say the last real ninja because he was the last one to perform espionage for the Japanese government). The techniques are very effective and very deadly. Feel free to ask me any questions about it or any of the other martial arts I know.

  5. First off...

If you want to be a ninja, you don't tell the world about it.

A ninja's success is based on the fact that s/he has talents that nobody knows about.

  6. Sorry there are no modern ninjas. There are some people who practice ninjitsu or ninjutsu. But there are no modern day ninjas. There is no one practicing Bushido "The Way of the Warrior". When I began in martial arts the name of my club was Bushido. We learned the priciples of what that really means. I guess it helped that my instructor was also my social studies teacher. His are of expertise was Eastern Culture. He held black belt in Judo and Jujitsu. He had trained in Japan as well as the USA.

  7. I know of a few 3 month camps.   I can possibly help you out.  where are you located   email me back

  8. There's actually an article about Ninjutsu being taught within one of the special forces in Europe along with Karate but that's it. Ninjutsu is actually a very practical martial arts style developed during the feudal era in Japan.

It consists moves similar to that of Aikido, Judo, Karate, and Jujitsu, but even more similar to mixed martial arts and teaches the most effective ways to kill somebody using weapons and hands. But there's no flashy or magical moves in this style whatsoever.

PS: Ninjutsu, aka "ninja art" has more than one style and I think you should remember that.
