Modivation. Please I need advice, your help, someones inspiration, anyone.?

I want to loose weight, I have lost some since having a baby, but I need advice, because it has become very hard for me to stay on track, to stay focused. i have Cravings all the time. I crave sweets at night, Its become harder and harder to fight, it's like a little devil on my shoulder," eat the bowl of ice cream, start eating right tomorrow" but I seem hungrier too, I'm not pregnant!!! I just have lost my strength. How do I get back motivated, advice please, How do I push harder.

  1. Hi, remove all the unhealthy food choices from your house. Replace things with substitutes for example instead of ice cream, eat low fat healthy yogurt, if you want chips eat rice crackers or carrot or celery sticks dipped in humus. Make sure to prepare fruit and vege snacks and keep them prepacked in the fridge (you can do it the night before) so if you have a craving just grab them instead. Also try and eat more fish canned tuna is good if you don't have much time to cook and you can get it in nice flavors and eat chicken or turkey sandwiches on brown bread (buy the low fat slices from the deli section). 

    If you think about what you put into your body it can help motivate you; and if you prepare food before hand it makes it easier to grab that instead of a bowl of ice cream :) as you already have a healthy snack on hand. Also don't punish yourself with food if you have to eat chocolate, eat some dark chocolate (its lower in fat). Otherwise if you punish yourself you might binge later on and give up. The best thing to do is to find healthy substitutes for foods you like and eat all foods in moderation. Also six small meals a day is the best choice to help keep you energised and fulfilled; it also helps speed up your metabolism which enhances weight loss (starving yourself only makes you gain weight in the long run).

    As for excercise, just do half an hour a day thats all you need and when you feel more confident and fit you can push yourself to do more. If you don't do it no one else can do it for you. Keep  a picture of yourself from when you looked better in the kitchen and remind yourself that nothing tastes as good as looking and feeling good :)

    If you have a weak moment its normal, just get back on track quickly and remember your goal. It is hard but if you want to achieve your goal you have to push yourself, as only you can achieve it!  Good luck! :)  


  2. don't keep ice cream in the house, buy some nice fruit like watermelon and berries and some nuts, chew gum, brush ur teeth even, drinking herbal tea might help, also a supplement called 5 htp which over time does supress the appetite, it a healthy and natural thing. Also read Tony Robbins Notes from A Friend, what he says about focus....focus on what you want to be doing not what you dont want, remember the reason you want to lose the weight and keep that in your mind....if all else fails and you must eat do some exercise
